The Mastery opportunity

Coaching first.
Migration claims never.

The same public fee, deliverable and contractor conditions apply. Your nationality does not change the coaching standard; your individual visa conditions determine whether and how much you may work.

What Mastery offers

Independent, non-exclusive coaching engagements in Adelaide. The current standard completed-outcome fee is $75, with $100 for eligible single-session days and $50 for late required submissions.

What you maintain

You must hold and maintain your own lawful Australian work rights, understand your actual visa conditions, and remain within every applicable work limit. Use VEVO rather than assuming a general rule applies to you.

VETASSESS · Group F

What the assessor currently publishes.

VETASSESS currently lists Football Coach under Other Sports Coach or Instructor, ANZSCO 452317. It displays three Group F qualification-and-work combinations. This is a summary, not an assessment of you.

01

Highly relevant qualification

AQF Certificate II or higher with a highly relevant field, plus at least one year of highly relevant post-qualification work in the last five years.

02

Qualification not highly relevant

AQF Certificate II or higher in another field, plus at least two years of highly relevant post-qualification work, all undertaken within the last five years.

03

Pre-qualification work

AQF Certificate II or higher, plus four years of relevant work including at least one highly relevant year in the last five years. Confirm VETASSESS’s exact timing and evidence rules directly.

The 20-hour rule: VETASSESS says qualifying work must be paid and highly relevant at a minimum of 20 hours per week. Irregular periods are not simply averaged. Mastery does not guarantee that volume and a session fee does not prove weekly hours by itself. Read the occupation page.

What Mastery can document

  • An executed contractor agreement
  • Accepted session records held in the platform
  • Attendance and assessment submissions
  • Contractor-generated invoices and payout records
  • A factual reference describing work actually completed

What Mastery cannot promise

  • A minimum number of sessions or hours
  • That any record will satisfy VETASSESS
  • How your qualification will be assessed
  • State nomination or an invitation
  • A visa, sponsorship or permanent residence

Work limits

Check your visa.
Do not estimate.

The Australian Government currently describes a 48-hour-per-fortnight cap during study terms or semesters for many international students, with different settings for some research students and scheduled breaks. Your visa grant and VEVO record control your situation.

Every paid activity matters

Do not assume contractor work sits outside a visa work limit. Track actual activity and obtain advice on what counts in your circumstances.

Australian Government work-rights summary

No hours conversion

Mastery does not convert ten sessions into a claimed VETASSESS or visa-hours total. Preparation, delivery and reporting evidence must reflect what actually occurred and what the relevant authority accepts.

South Australian nomination changes by program year

At the review date, Migration SA’s 2026-27 occupation list and ROI program were not available. This page therefore does not claim that ANZSCO 452317 is open for South Australian nomination. The old Small Business Owner pathway and $54,000 narrative previously published by Mastery have been removed because they are not part of the current official program material reviewed here.

491 is not sponsorship

State nomination.
Provisional visa.

Subclass 491 is a points-tested, state-nominated provisional visa. It is not an employer-sponsored visa from Mastery and it is not immediate permanent residence. Home Affairs describes a possible subclass 191 pathway after the statutory period if every criterion is met.
