Late outcome
The agreement defines when a required attendance and assessment submission is late.

Adelaide · Independent coaching
A public view of Mastery’s fees, evidence, coaching deliverable, practical support and expectations, so you can decide with the facts in front of you.
Independent contractor opportunity. No guaranteed sessions, hours, continuity or income.
The standard model
The figures below describe the current standard completed-outcome model. They are gross contractor fees, not wages or take-home pay. GST, program exclusions and individually negotiated variations can apply.
The agreement defines when a required attendance and assessment submission is late.
Accepted session delivered, with prompt attendance and individual player assessment/feedback recorded.
Applies to eligible programs when the coach has one qualifying session on that day.
You are responsible for a safe, purposeful session and useful individual observation, not simply occupying the field.
Clear fees and lower admin friction help experienced people keep coaching alongside their other work and clients.
The app makes the result visible: session, attendance, assessment, feedback, accrued fee and contractor-initiated invoice.
South Australian evidence
Many academy and club opportunities publish duties without publishing a rate. Rather than fill those gaps with estimates, this table shows what each reviewed source actually disclosed.
| Source | Audience | Relationship | Published rate | What it supports |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| [1] Fair Work CommissionSporting Organisations Award 2020 | Regulatory | Covered employee roles | $33.44-$51.13/hour base | The adult coach grades published from 1 July 2026 range from $33.44 to $51.13 per hour. Casual loading is 25%.Award coverage and employment classification are legal questions. This is a reference point, not a statement that the award covers Mastery contractors. |
| [2] IndeedSoccer coach salaries, South Australia | Mixed | Aggregated salary reports | $36.33/hour | Indeed reported a South Australian soccer-coach average of $36.33 per hour, updated 12 April 2026.Secondary source based on only five reported salaries. It does not separate junior, adult, academy, club, employee, and contractor work. |
| [3] The Big Issue AustraliaCommunity Street Soccer Program Assistant Coach - Port Adelaide | Adult | Dated job advertisement | $46.70/hour | A current Adelaide adult community-soccer role disclosed $46.70 per hour when reviewed. One time-bound advertisement with a different social-program scope. It is not a market average. |
| [4] Adelaide UnitedFootball Development Coaching Opportunities | Youth | Casual community coaching | Not publicly disclosed | The professional club recruits community-program coaches for children aged 5-14.This is a community program at a professional club, not first-team or professional-academy compensation. |
| [5] Kelly SportsChildren’s Sports Coach, Adelaide | Youth | Award-based role | Relevant award; number not disclosed | The reviewed advertisement said coaches were paid under the relevant award.A multi-sport provider rather than a like-for-like football academy. |
| [6] Adelaide University/UniSA via Football SA2026 junior coaching opportunities | Youth | Amateur club opportunity | Not publicly disclosed | The vacancy disclosed training and game commitments plus club support, but no numeric rate.Public club vacancies frequently describe scope while leaving remuneration undisclosed. |
| [7] AUSC White via Football SAFirst Team Coach Wanted 2026 | Adult | Amateur club opportunity | Negotiable | The adult first-team vacancy disclosed two training nights plus Saturday competition and said remuneration was negotiable. No numeric fee was published, so no pay ranking can be inferred. |
| [8] Sacred Heart Old Collegians via Football SAMen’s First Team Coach Wanted | Adult | Amateur club opportunity | Incentives; number not disclosed | The vacancy mentioned incentives but published no numeric coaching fee.Incentive structure, workload value, and total remuneration cannot be inferred. |
Hourly employee rates can include casual loading, statutory entitlements and paid time that a contractor fee does not. Contractor comparisons also depend on travel, preparation, insurance, tax, super where legally required, unpaid administration, session length and role scope. The Indeed figure is especially limited because it uses five reports. No reliable public South Australian first-team professional-club rate was found, so none is claimed.
